Now That's a Story!

Let me tell you a story about my first true love. His name was Pat. Our first date was so exciting and so full of fun. I remember him taking me to a circus. There were clowns, bears, elephants, horses, and tigers. Pat and I were watching the tight rope people and we thought it was so exciting to watch them balance each other on their shoulders. They even rode bikes across this rope.

After we had seen the entertainment and all of the exciting things with the tigers, we decided to walk down the mid-way. I had introduced Pat to some of my friends that I had gone to school with. I whispered to one of the girls that Pat was my true love, and this was our first date. Then the laughter started and they wanted to know how we met.

Oh, you guys would never believe this, but we met through a dating service that was free on line through the internet. Of course they thought I was kidding. No one ever meets their first date through the dating service. Well, I did and we have enjoyed each other very much today.

Well as the day went on, we were giggling, talking, laughing, and just staring at each other most of the time. Pat leaned over to me and said in my ear, I just can't believe this is actually True love. This dating service had told us that when people meet through a dating service, that they never last.

Well, here it is, 2 years later, and Pat and I are still dating. He wanted to get married, but he wanted me to wait until I was done with college. After I got done with college, we started making plans of getting married. He had a steady in his home town, and I got a job in his home town. Everything is going along fine. I still feel like every time we go out we are out on our First date. I feel like I have found my true love, and it will last forever and forever.
