Now That's a Story!

One Wednesday night I was sitting at home watching pop idol on the tv, I know sad I hear you say but I am a very musical person and love to see young people getting a chance to follow their dreams and a show like pop idol does just that.

Whether it be singing or dancing I love watching pop idol and will always turn the tv over to the after show on ITV 2 where they show even more pop idol auditions. I am not one of these people that loves to watch someone dance and fall over and make a fool of themselves of sing and sound like a cat being strangled, I cannot understand why people like that even apply to the show surely they must know that they can't dance, wouldn't a member of their family of said sorry honey you can't dance, I know I would if they were part of my family, I couldn't stand by and watch a member of my family make an idiot of themselves on national television, that isn't want I call love, I know they say love is blind but its not that blind or tone deaf surely.

I run a dating service from home and on many profiles of new clients they type that they can dance and sing and I find myself sitting there thinking can you really or do you just think you can, there are too many people out there with aspirations too big for themselves but there is also alot of people out there that think they are bad and have no self confidence in themselves but really they are very good but just dont have the confidence to let themselves go and give it a try which is such a shame, I know nerves can be a problem but with the right help they can be over come.

There is a lot of undiscovered talent in the world and that's why like I said I love show's like pop idol or Britain's got talent, in fact anything that gives someone the chance to show off their real potential, I find myself very rarely disagreeing with the judges they really do know what they are on about despite people saying different, well for a start they wouldn't be where they are today if they didn't and I think people should remember that before they start slagging the judges off. Anyway I must go its time for my weekly installment of pop idol another 2 hours of pure enjoyment on the box.
