Now That's a Story!

My husband and I met through one of those free dating sites. It is really special of how I met my boyfriend first, then turned into my husband. First off, we have been married for 10 years and not one argument as yet.

I was on the computer one night, and I had a friend of mine staying over cause I have not seen her for like 5 years. We spent the night just a talking away. Finally she asked if she could get on my computer for a little bit, and I said of course. She was talking on messenger to all of these people and they were from all over the world.

She had ask me if I ever went on those free dating sites, and of course, who me. I do not believe in those, and I think you get the leftovers of what other people do not want. That was my opinion though. She had showed me a few of those sites, and we went to 1 that was just overwhelming to me. It had so many ads on this one site, and pictures also. I go for the pictures, then I read the ad.

Her and I found this special one that she thought I might like. We both read it over and she showed me how to answer the ad. I could possibly find a husband or a boyfriend through this on-line dating site. So after answering the ad, we waited for about 1 hour and decided to go back to see if this one answered.

I was sitting there laughing when she was reading one that answered me back. It went like this, ‘’ Hello, my name is Mike, and I am answering your ad back. I would like to meet you and get to know you a little bit better before we actually start dating.’’ Now that was short and to the point. So we answered back with telephone numbers and addresses, and we ended up meeting on Saturday night. Of course, my friend had to go back home and she left me in this mess.

So Saturday approached and we were meeting at noon for a light lunch. I got dressed and started walking to where we were suppose to meet. We described what we were going to wear, so we could identify each other. When I approached, I could tell he would not be my boyfriend for long. It was funny, cause we never did any on-line dating either.

After we spent the afternoon talking about each other, we decided to take a walk along the beach. We started doing this about 3 times a week. Now guess what happened 10 months later! My on-line dating friend, who turned into my boyfriend, and now turned into my husband.

Our anniversary is coming up in 1 month.
