Now That's a Story!

There were lots of cute guys on the london dating scene, but many seemed afraid of commitment, and those that were not were already committed or not over their ex partners. What did Vicky have to do to find a kind cute guy to kiss and cuddle who would love her with their heart and soul. Vicky had so muchto offer and was not going to settle for second best. Nights out had proved disappointing to say the least and she had attended so many weddings this year she wondered when it would be her turn.

Vicky had seen her best friend marry a local lad, and they had a very cute new baby, oh how she wished it was her who had been at the end of the aisle that day. She went to see her best friend regularly and helped out where she could with their new baby.

The very next day Charlene, her best friend had rang her in tears and asked her to come round straight away. Vicky did not hesitate as her friend had been there for her throughout all her dates that had gone wrong. When she arrived Charlene's new Baby was crying her eyes out and Charlene was pretty much in the same state. It had turned out that her husband had left her for another woman, she was distraught, they had seemed so happy when they sealed their marriage with a kiss earlier on that year, she really thought that Charlene had found her soul mate. Charlene had suspected things were going wrong for a while now, bu the fact she had woken to find a note and her husbands wardrobe empty had proved her suspicions. All the note had said was don't love you any more and can't live a lie, goodbye. Was that all her time with him had meant.

Vicky was fuming that her friend had been hurt in such a way. She took Charlene's baby from her crib and put her in her push chair, she told Charlene to get herself ready while she had some time as she felt that pining over her estranged husband would not bring him back. She would find her soul mate it just seemed that it would take longer than expected.

She took the baby around the park and when she got back Charlene seemed much better. It seemed that her husband had rang her and said he was sorry. She had taken him back. It seemed that life was not as simple as it had seemed originally to Vicky. She decided that maybe she was better off on her own....at least for a while, as she gave her friend and baby a kiss goodbye.
