People should have faith on the internet. If the real world is unable to make your dreams come true, then perhaps the internet can. Have faith in the dating sites. Who says that a cupid only floats around in the parks, playgrounds and fun fairs, aiming its arrow on the potential ones? Why is it so difficult to believe that a cupid may be able to float around in the internet world too?

Joyce believes that. Joyce believes that with enough faith and strong belief, she will find her one true love, even if it means many nights of checking emails to see if there is any response from the 2 dating sites she has registered with. Well, actually 3 dating sites, not 2. And counting those she has given up on, 6 is the actual number. But 6, that's all. Not that she is giving up faith in the internet to find her the one true love. But to succeed, she has decided to focus on the new popular sites and not those old ones where even existing members are no longer coming back to.

Joyce wants a husband. Not just a husband. Joyce needs a lovable husband. She needs a lovable husband to get her mom off her back. She can imagine how this would start a wonderful Christmas day for her, where she does not have to endure the sympathetic stares of her family members. She does not ask to be single. She does not want to be single. She wants her love. She wants her one true love. She wants a husband so that she can put a stop to those stares. But God has decided to be funny with her. That must be it. God decides to play around with her.

If only finding a husband is as easy as a click on the mouse, Joyce would have been a happier person now. So, until then, Joyce resolves not to give up. There are men out there, Joyce tells herself. And eventually, one would fall onto her lap. Well, not onto her lap. She hopes it is her who would be falling onto his lap. Someone. Anyone. Any lovable one. With a renewed faith, Joyce enters her password and logs into the dating site.
