Now That's a Story!

I have a really good friend, Jennywho is a really big fan of all those dating sites you see online. She swears that it's the absolutely best way to meet your life partner. How she can swear that I don't know though because she is still not married herself. She goes on a lot of dates with some really cute guys but other than that she is not in a serious relationship. Last week I saw a really gorgeous guy pick her up and she didn't come home that night but after the next day he never called her again. If this is what she means by finding a life long partner, then I must be going about it the wrong way. We have a bit of a competition going to see who gets married first.

I usually look for guys that are smart and serious, the cute guys are usually only interested in having fun so I never date anyone who is cute. Instead you will see me with the guy that no one else wants to go out with. Sometimes I feel a bit jealous of Jenny, especially when I see her get picked up bu the really gorgeous guys, but at least myguys call me a few more times after our date. My guys are also really good about paying for dinner and they don't hassle me for sex after a date.

I will admit that I hope to find my partner before Jenny does. I would like to show her that even though I may not be the most gorgeous girl on the block I am still capable of finding a good man to marry me. It would be nice to finally beat her at something and since I am pretty sure that she is going about this all wrong I think I have a good shot of beating her to the altar. I am sorry to be so petty but after years of watching her get everything she wants, it's finally my turn to have it all. I will have the big white wedding and she will have to be the dreaded bridesmaid.
