We met on one of those free dating sites that match you up with your perfect match. I use to think that free dating sites were for desperate people with no lives but I decided to join up any ways. One of the free dating sites I joined found me a partner already. She seemed like an ideal person for me, except we were looking for one thing. Sex. She was a virgin and so was I. These free dating sites seemed to work after all. It matched me up with a person who only wanted a one time fling, which was lucky in my case. I told her where to meet and when. But little did I know this was more then I bargained for.The next day, I went to meet her at a near by coffee shop. There she was. She was really skinny and pale. I wondered why, but I didn't ask any questions. We got a couple of coffees and sat down. We chatted about a lot of things. Like life and how sometimes god was unfair. She seemed to rant a lot on that subject so I knew she had been threw a lot. But what struck me was that she liked everything I liked and she was really easy to talk to. It felt like I knew her for my entire life.I walked her to my house. I told her I couldn't have a one night stand with her because I care too much about her. I took her inside and we watched a movie. After the movie she started crying. She then told me she had less then 5 years to live. I asked why and she told me she had a neurological disease. Today was suppose to be a one night fling, but it turned out to be the real thing. I held her tightly in my arms as she cried. I wanted to protect her. Not hurt her. I wanted to be there for her. I stroke her hair and whispered that it would be alright in her ear and that I would always be by her side. That seemed to help. We connected so well on our date today and my hearts convinced that she could be my soul mate. I can't deny it. I might have fallen for a girl, with a neurological disease. I wanted to hold her forever and protect her with these skinny arms, but there was nothing I could do but wait. She didn't have much time left and I was determined to make her happy. Whether it would be a waste of effort or not.
