Now That's a Story!

The london dating scene, the very thing that drove hilary insane. She had tried endlessly to find a suitable mate, but no one ever bit her personal ads.

She had about given up all hope when her phone rang one sunny august morning, it was her friend Joann.

"Hello?""Hey, Hilary. How goes the london dating circuit?@

"Horrible. I hate it with a passion.""That good, huh? Well, I have good news for you. Remember Mike, the guy you met at the bar who I went to school with?"Hilary nodded, not realizing Joann couldn't actually see her

"Yes."

"Well, he wants to meet you for coffee!"The phone fell out of her hand instantly, and she was down the hall, screaming with joy. Eventually, she got back onto the phone and told her friend she'd like to meet him too, if not just a brief encounter.

2 nights later, she found she was in a cafe, wearing her best dress, waiting for Mike to show up. She had almost began to wonder if he'd ever show up, until he came in the door. Never in her years of trying london dating had she seen anyone so stunning. She was awestruck. He came and sat down, and they began to talk, and talk, and talk.

They covered many topics: Politics, animal rights, and a few other small things, but never touched on any deep, and personal issues, which Hilary enjoyed, as someone who hates being put on the spot. Before long, the cafe was closing for the night, and they were still talking. After the owner had forced them to leave, they went for a long walk, and didnt wind up at her apartment until 3AM.

"Well, that was certainly a wonderful time""I've not had that much fun in a while""Me neither""So, Hilary. Can I see you again?"She just smiled her best smile, and she laughed like its going out of style, looked into his eyes and said "We'll see."He shot her a sly smile and kissed her on the cheek, she returned a cute smile and sexily walked into her apartment and shut the door, she immediately ran to her front window to watch him to leave. Once he was out of view, then leaned against the wall and slid down it until she was sitting. She was definately in love with this man. She went to bed, and lay awake until sunriuse thinking about him. To hell with the london dating circuit.
