Now That's a Story!

I remember when I got my divorce I tried one of those swingers club. Let me tell you it was not my style. When I mention the word swingers that is exactly what it was. My idea was where you got to know people and just started dating casually like a first date or a blind date.

Not this swingers club, it was different. We all sat down in a circle and we had to hold up a sheet of paper with our name on it. Then we had to tell a little bit about ourself. I can remember some of the stories these people would tell about themselves. I remember one where one of the girls was talking about her date with an older gentleman and just as they were walking out the door, he suffered a stroke. That was so awful to hear and was so sad.

I also remember one gentleman getting up and he was talking about his first blind date was at a swingers club. Somehow the girl he was talking to in a café was just answering questions that he was asking of likeyes, oh really, oh I didn’t know that, and he finally give up on her. What he was trying to do was ask her out on a date, but she kept ignoring him. He was totally shocked when he arrived at the swingers club and that same girl was there. He wanted to go hide because he felt like a goof ball.

Listening to these stories is so comical. I think belonging to a swingers club is comical itself. Please keep in mind that is my opinion. One other guy got up and talked about how gorgeous his date was. Then he found out she was only 21 and he was 53. This gorgeous lady lied to him about her age, and still to this day he does not know why.

Now you know my reasons why I do not like the swingers club. I feel I get better results going to an internet café and getting a bit to eat and something to drink. You would be amazed of who walks in one of those café’s. I have watched some of the men and they are there for the same reason I am.

Well I had better quit writing about my sad story and start watching of who walks in and out. I want to be able to talk to an available man if I need to, and can’t be available if I am sitting here and actually working.
