Speed dating is a new fad that I can see being around for a long time.I have been to speed dating parties as well as speed dating night at a local pub many times. I met my husband at one of these outings when I was with a group of my girl friends. We just wanted to do something different, after a while you get tired of the traditional dance club.It's really hard to talk to anyone when you are screaming over top of music all the time.Besides, just because a guy can dance doesn't mean that he isn't a jerk.We all get tired of being dateless on a Saturday night and speed dating not only adds a little spice in our lives but the perks of potential suitors.You only exchange your private information with the guys that you think are worth your time,which at times are few and far space.

How the whole speed dating thing works is that we arrive at the pub or party in our best come hither outfits and sign up to take part in the dating scene.We are given five minutes with each guy that comes to our table.After a brief conversation (or should I say interview) a bell rings and just like musical chairs the guys switch seats and the next potential date sits down.It's hard to get a lot out of a guy in such little time but fortunately with the ringing of the he dose come back around and since it is only five minutes you don't have to worry about the occasional jerk that comes along.

I was very fortunate with the whole speed dating thing.I had been to about three of these before I met my husband.It was as if from the first time that he sat at my table, I didn't want to be bothered with anyone else.I am sure that he felt the same way.After the date we exchanged information,had a few drinks together and set up our first official date.The anticipation of it all kept me sleepless for almost a week,I just don't understand how I could feel this way about a man whom I truly don't know.Is this the way that it feels when you meet your soul mate because if it is then I am there.I adore my husband,just the mere touch of him makes me swoon.Speed dating YEAH! has been more than good to me.
