Now That's a Story!

I started dating when I was 16 and I was dating boys that were around my age. Then for some reason I was getting older and found out the boys I were dating just had nothing to offer. I decided I would try my luck at dating men that were out of high school and knew what they wanted to do for their career.

I found out after I turned 21 that dating men that knew what they wanted out of life was for me. You see, I know what I wanted out of life and no man was going to change my mind. That is kind of what the dating men I was dating were trying to do, and I just said no way. I wanted more out of life than going to a bar and sitting around listening to music half of the night and then sleeping half of the day away.

When I first started dating men I thought some of them were so cute, and I still remember my first date. I will never forget that. My first date with older men consisted of going out to a bar and drinking half of the night. I remember I had to drive my date home and I left his car in the drive way and I called a cab to take me back to my house. I remember him calling the next day and saying he was sorry and he wanted a chance to make it up to me, and I told him I am tied up for about a week, because I am re modeling my bedroom. Even though I thought this boy was cute, I just didn’t want to go out on another boring date.

So you can see my first experience of dating men was not really cool, but as time passed and I was dating men more and more it got a lot easier for me. I started going out for a little bit of wine and a nice dinner. Then we might catch a show later on during the evening. I am hoping through this experience I can learn by my mistakes and not make the same ones again, especially with the same men that I have been dating. I might even try a second date with some of the ones that I thought were boring during our date. They always say your second date is the best one to remember, so I guess I will give it try.
