Now That's a Story!

Nine months ago I joined three free dating sites as an experiment with a friend of mine, we had been seeing so many commercials and ads for them that we wanted to find out if they really and truly worked. So we chose the three free dating sites had the biggest rankings on Google, and soon we were off into the world of online dating. Marcy my friend was actually all excited thinking that we would for sure meet some hot guys and actually get some action which had been kind of scarce for us both. As for me I was kind of divided, I wanted to believe that I might meet someone but at the same time I didn't want to get into any sticky situations, being a student I knew I would not have too much time to dedicate to a relationship and I am very unlike Marcy in that I do not enjoy a brief encounter with a guy as much as she does. She's had a lot of one night stands since I met her but I am more reserved and that just is not my style.

So the free dating sites we chose were really active, I mean there was action going on like every minute of the day. We both got some winks and nods and kisses on our very first day as members and next think you know Marcy was meting up with some of the guys at the village for coffee or dinner. I knew it would be easy for her and I almost wanted to go out and meet some of the guys too but still when I saw her come home with a guy she had barely met and saw her kiss him like big time I decided that no, I would not be rushing into things like that. Instead I waited and waited some more until one day I got an email from one of the free dating sites that changed my life.

The email was from Nate a guy who had seen my email and liked it, he wanted to get to know me and when I saw him I liked him so much I agreed. He has soft blue eyes and really black hair and is pretty much my dream guy, he is nice and smart and we get along great. We are not rushing into anything andhaven'teven had sex yet but we are enjoying each other and will take the next step when the time is right. Marcy is continuing with her speed dating and is also happy with the results we got from the dating sites and know we both know that yes, online dating sites do work.
